Meet Rachel

Since childhood, I've been passionate about food, cooking, and spreading joy, leading me to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. My career has included roles at prominent companies like Johnny Rockets, Marriott, and Lettuce Entertain You.

In 2013, my move from Chicago to Dallas inspired me to bake banana bread, reminiscent of home. Friends encouraged me to sell it after tasting it. Despite initial reluctance, repeated encouragement led me to start selling banana bread. By 2017, I launched She’s Gone Bananas. The business expanded when I ventured into making a custom cake after watching numerous YouTube tutorials, which led to over 300 cake creations. My business now specializes in custom buttercream cakes, though I continue to bake banana bread. I'm excited to craft something unique for you and your family.
